One day, I was assigned on an internship to gain exposure to a promising new project. My role was to handle incidents at the first line of support. Seated nearby was a group of young people, fresh out of university. At first glance, you could tell they were a little beaten down, with that constant look of quiet despair in their eyes. Trying to lift the atmosphere, I decided to strike up a conversation with one of my colleagues and started gently.
